Non Commercial Usage Guidelines & Terms

Yes, you can use our sounds - but please read this carefully first!

🕸 Attribution & Credit

  • If a Nightmare Soundworks track makes up more than 60% of your video, you must include our name in the video title.
  • You must link to our YouTube channel in your video description.
  • You must also include a link to the track used so others can find it.

đź’€ Monetization & Content ID

  • Our music is protected under YouTube’s Content ID system - you cannot monetize videos containing our songs unless you’ve obtained a proper license from us.
  • Uploading compilations, “mixes,” or long-format uploads (like “1 Hour of…” videos) featuring our tracks is not permitted.
  • If you upload a video using our music, you might receive a Content ID claim. Don’t panic - this is not a strike, just standard rights management.

🧛 Streaming & Live Use

  • You’re welcome to play our tracks during live streams - we just ask that you credit Nightmare Soundworks verbally and in your description.
  • Your description must include a link to our YouTube Channel
  • Be aware that some songs may be muted on VODs due to automated Content ID detection. Unfortunately, we can’t grant exceptions or clear individual cases.
