Attribution & Credit
- If a Nightmare Soundworks track makes up more than 60% of your video, you must include our name in the video title.
- You must link to our YouTube channel in your video description.
- You must also include a link to the specific track used so others can find it.
Monetization & Content ID
- Our music is protected under YouTube's Content ID system — you cannot monetize videos containing our tracks without a paid license.
- Compilations, mixes, or long-format uploads ("1 Hour of…") featuring our tracks are not permitted.
- If you upload a video using our music you may receive a Content ID claim. This is not a strike — it's standard rights management.
// HEADS UP: Monetizing content with our music without a license will result in a Content ID claim and revenue redirection. A commercial license is required for any monetized use.
Streaming & Live Use
- You're welcome to play our tracks during live streams — credit Nightmare Soundworks verbally and in your stream description.
- Your description must include a link to our YouTube channel.
- Be aware that some tracks may be muted on VODs due to automated Content ID detection. We cannot grant exceptions or clear individual cases.
Commercial Use
- Any use in a monetized or commercial project — film, event, podcast, paid attraction, brand activation — requires a paid license.
- We offer flexible licenses for haunted attractions, theme parks, immersive theater, film, TV, and more.
